Kisspeptin

GnRH Secretion Stimulator (Metastin)

Kisspeptin is a naturally occurring peptide that plays a key role in regulating reproductive hormones. It acts on the hypothalamus, stimulating the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which in turn boosts LH and FSH levels. This can support natural testosterone production, improve fertility, and help regulate menstrual cycles.

Powdered Compound

This is a lyophilized powder and must be reconstituted with Bacteriostatic Water before use. For research purposes only.

Stimulates natural testosterone production via LH release

Supports fertility and reproductive health research

Helps regulate menstrual cycle through HPG axis modulation

May influence libido and sexual function via endocrine pathways

What is Kisspeptin?

Kisspeptin is a naturally occurring peptide encoded by the KISS1 gene. It was first discovered in 1996 as a metastasis suppressor, but its critical role in reproductive biology became clear when researchers identified it as the master regulator of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis.

Kisspeptin binds to the GPR54 receptor (also called KISS1R) on GnRH neurons in the hypothalamus, triggering a cascade that stimulates the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). This in turn signals the pituitary gland to release luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which drive testosterone production in males and regulate ovulation and estrogen production in females.

Research has shown that kisspeptin plays an essential role in puberty onset, fertility, and the regulation of reproductive cycles. Our Kisspeptin is manufactured under strict quality controls and supplied as a lyophilized powder for research purposes.

Key Mechanisms

GnRH Stimulation

Activates GnRH neurons in the hypothalamus, initiating the HPG axis cascade for hormone release.

LH & FSH Release

Stimulates the pituitary to release luteinizing and follicle-stimulating hormones into circulation.

Testosterone Production

Elevated LH signals Leydig cells in the testes to produce and secrete testosterone.

Cycle Regulation

Governs the pulsatile release of GnRH essential for normal menstrual and reproductive cycles.
